The Twins refused to commit to building a new park in St. Paul, which effectively nullified the ballpark bill signed earlier this year. Twins officials will go back to the legislature and try to get a new stadium bill that allows them to build the park in Minneapolis. This will all be thrown out the window if the players strike however, as key lawmakers in Minnesota have said support for a new park will evaporate if the players walk on Aug. 30th.
